Completed Charge on Gnex

I have a quick question, but a little background first.
My OEM charger stopped working on me so I replaced it with an off brand charger, it came with a tag on it that said "disconnect when charge complete."

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the Gnex shows the lightning bolt that indicates the phone is charging in the battery icon in the notification bar even when the phone is charged to 100%? I'm just asking because my phone keeps the lightning bolt there with this new charger and I was wondering if it was continuing to charge my phone even though it is full.

I don't keep charges when battery is full.. In fact i disconnect charger when i see 95% just in case i forget

The phone will stop charging when the battery is full regardless of how you charge it. The charger you bought may have a tag on it to prevent it from overheating when the phone cuts off the juice, but the phone should be fine.

Thank you patruns, this was my feeling but I wanted to be sure because I like to charge my phone overnight and I didn't want to kill my battery.

With regards to your query on b the lightning bolt, yes, it will stay until you unplug the charger
