You need to unlock and root, yes. If you are contemplating it, we have some great guides you can check out in our Rooting section, and a number of knowledgeable peeps around to answer any questions you have

Here's my baby. Wallpaper from picspeed and the clock is a 're-sized beautiful widget super clock. Only using three home screens.

I have "wallpaper slideshow", so every 30 seconds or so it changes. It goes between a bunch of New York Yankees, Game Of Thrones, and some Led Zeppelin pics. And a few icons and widgets on each home screen. View attachment 31861

Messing around with nova launcher trying to decide whether or not I need the paid app. Can anyone tell me how to put the launcher on the bottom when the screen rotates?

Something simple just for now. Using Apex launcher and the "Metro inspired Apex" icons.

I didn't think I'd like the tablet UI but it's pretty awesome.
