unfortunately messaging has stopped on Samsung galaxy sIII

Every time I try to send or receive a txt message on Samsung galaxy s3 I just get a message on the screen saying "unfortunately messaging has stopped" CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

Delate old messages, you have to many undelete text.
