I know plenty of people here seem to be worried about breaking the camera glass. I just ran across this. Might speak to some. Clever idea. Not sure it checks all the boxes for me, but I'm digging the concept.

Just noticed this is for the Note 20. There's probably an ultra version somewhere...

Available October:(

Says September 15th for me. My biggest grope with the note 20 version was the vertical sliding cover. The horizontal slide of the note 20 Ultra cover should provide the flat surface stability I've been looking for out of a case. Put one on order to try it out. This could end up being my primary case (work).

Received mine for the ultra today. As I expected, it allows the phone to be stable when places on a flat surface. The sliding cover is pretty secure and requires some deliberate effort to open, but the mechanism works well. The car feels a bit plasticky overall, but it looks like it may make for a decent everyday case. The sides feel slightly going allowing a little bit of flex there. The bottoms are molded in so it does require a deliberate push. I'm partial to having separate floating buttons. Someone looking for a car that might help prevent accidental button pushes may space this. It's got slightly thicker corners for extra protection. I think it could do without the textured back. It does as some grip, but I prefer a another texture. The cutout for the USB-C port is a little flimsy. Mind you, these gripes are minor. But it's the only case I've found short of something being really thick that keeps the phone stable. The camera cover could be a good thing once the stay at home orders are lifted as I'm in a so environment at work some of the time. It's a decent case, but if my Torras car was as stable on a flat surface, that would be my primary.

Regardless. Here are a few photos. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any work the phone in the case.

Doesn't sound like the best of effort was put into the production of those, they are a good idea though, hopefully some company will make a *less Chinese quality* version of them.
I'm not putting my lovely quality Note in a smelly sock just to protect it :)

There are a few reviews on YouTube showing how cases like these causing damage to the camera glass and lens. Reason why I veered away from ordering...

How? The cover doesn't touch the glass. I actually removed the sliding cover though. I find its a bit inconvenient at work...

The sliding camera cover would just be a problem for me. I love catching my grandkids when they least expect it. Having to slide the cover out the way would eventually be an issue.
