For those affected by the Samsung Keyboard eating battery, try Settings>Apps>Samsung Keyboard>Storage
Clear cache and clear data.
Try again.
Chitwon28, did you transfer your apps and data from your old phone when you got the new phone? I know when doing that I've had to re-install an occassional app that's misbehaving.
~~If you go to 'Apps' in settings & select Samsung Keyboard, you should see the three dot menu in the upper right hand corner which will allow you to uninstall updates. (Attached screenshot)Does this option consume battery possibly? I have 2 of them turned on.
i did not transfer any apps to my new phone but i did transfer my text messages from my old to new phone but i mean i needed them.
