Just thought id let you all know we got our Evo shipment in at my Radioshack today! We had 16 preorders and got in 26 phones, so we have 10 phones to sell to walk-ins. Its different at every store, the more pre-orders a store gets the more phones they have for walk-in's. Theres one store in my district that had 0 pre-orders and got 0 phones, would hate to be them lol.

And no, just because we have the phones doesnt mean we can sell them to you before Friday!

haaa...sure wouldn't!! kinda figuring you'd be able to open yours, at least (assuming you have the inside scoop)

@storino: curiosity, as to whether it's a different version than the I/O releases..and it kinda matters cuz it may address some of the current 'issues' being reported and/or affect rootability, perhaps..

NiiiccEEE!!!!! My RS called me today to confirm my appt. They also have received there batch. Not sure how many as I didn't ask. Funny because I asked him if I can get a head start by picking up tomorrow.

Yes and they are and cheaper. The combo is 34.95 instead of 49.95. The cases are still the same price 29.95. Unless the one I saw had the wrong price. I told the sales person at bestbuy to put my name on that one, and put it to the side. They wouldn't let me buy it today.

that's awesome. thanks for the heads up. i went to 2 best buys today, but saw nothing. oddly enough, the first best buy had htc heros on the EVO display. my wife went to look for it while i was checking out some blu rays and she came back and said "i saw your phone... didn't look like anything special". i knew that couldn't be right...
