Problems with playing videos

I'm not exactly sure how to explain this. Frequently when I play videos, regardless of what app it is in, the video will get very pixelated, and turn green, pink or black. That's the best I can describe it. I'm not entirely sure how to post a screenshot, but if that'll help, I have a few of the problem. Thanks

Well, It looks like the player you are using isn't really fast in decoding the file ! Well why don't you try installing some other video players from the Play Store there are many of them available but I would say try going for VLC Player or the MX Player.

Thanks for the quick response. This problem also occurs in YouTube videos and videos that play whilst in a browser. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem? I've emptied the caches and uninstalled/reinstalled updates but so far no results.
