I ordered my M8 on 3/25 thru the HTC/Best Buy Mobile website and I got it for AT&T to transfer to Straight Talk. Order still says it is backordered and the guy I talked to yesterday said it would be another week before it shipped. *sigh* I want to get away from my Nexus 4 :(

Due to a problem with a phone we'd recently purchased, we went in store to return our phones (Galaxy Note 3 and S4) and decided to order the m8 instead. We did this yesterday. I probably should have ordered online, but the wait times were listed the same. Mine says it will ship (with overnight delivery) 4/4 to 4/7. Have you guys noticed if those shipping dates are accurate? A 4 day wait? Or have you received yours sooner?

Wouldn't let us order neither and then I found out you had to be a guest and not signed on with your BB account but I never tried it again after 5 failed attempts. I just went in to the mobile store here at the mall and bought a 25 dollar gift card to reserve one and should have it Sunday.

I been trying to order mine through best buy for sprint but it wont let me. Any body been successful in ordering the gold version for sprint??

I did not receive confirmation from best buy that my order was going to shipping however I just got an email from UPS w/ tracking that an shipment from bestbuy is schedule to delivery tomorrow.
(i'm think I recieved the email because i'm signed up for the UPS service that tell me when anything with my name and address is shipped by them)

Order on best buy website still shows pending... excited and fingers crossed.

The girl I spoke to at ATT was nice and offered priority shipping (which turned out to be overnight) even though I didn't ask for it. Shipped yesterday, arrived today. Hurts to leave it sitting in the box but I've got a million other things to take care of before I zone out on my new phone.

Has anyone done the early upgrade through Best Buy? I'm not eligible for an upgrade through ATT until next March, but Best Buy says I can talk to an in-store mobile salesmen, as I am eligible for an early upgrade through them. Anyone know what that means? Device cost + early upgrade fee I'm assuming, but I didn't see any mention of what that fee is.

I've never heard of anything like that. If you don't have an upgrade with your carrier Best Buy isn't going to offer the phone at an discounted price.

AT&T Premier support are the least helpful people. I placed my order about 24 hours ago and there has been no movement. Just called and was told that the order is still being reviewed by the system and if the system doesn't notice any errors within 48 hours, I should be good to go. When I asked for clarification as that what any of that meant, I was asked if there is anything else they can help with.
Checking order status online just says "Pending Confirmation". Kinda thought it would have shipped by now. So much for the wasted $15 for overnight shipping.

Does that just mean early termination fees from switching carriers? Or could it also mean early upgrade fee within same carrier?

Also, when I check for upgrade eligibility on Best Buy I get this...

"You're nor eligible for an upgrade yet. You're eligible for an early upgrade when you renew your contract in a Best Buy store. Speak with a Best Buy Mobile specialist to confirm the terms of your early upgrade."

Yes, that means if you cancel you contract... just saying you don't have to pay the full 325 if you only have 3 months left on your contract like it use to be a few years back....
I guess technically you could pay to cancel your current contract for about $120 and then sign a new contract and get the one for $199 .
ATT also has that Next program maybe you should call and get some info on that.

Ordered one this morning through AT&T and it is already processed and shipped. Tracking says it should arrive on Tuesday, holding out a glimmer of hope that it comes tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it.

Came in on Tuesday as promised. Too bad I worked late and back at today, I haven't had much time to play other than loading a few apps and accounts. MLB app is working good though. Listening to ball games at work.

It's now been 48 hours since I've placed my order through ATT online and the order status changed earlier today to expected to ship between 4/5-4/9. It's since gone back to "Pending Confirmation". I've finally called to cancel the order but they are unable to since the order is in the warehouse for shipment. This is kind of ridiculous as there was no indication when ordering that this wouldn't ship for a few days. Once shipped, I'm going to call to get my $15 overnight shipping returned.
