Can we switch from silver to black after 4/30 and still be eligible for the trade in program?

I purchased my silver phone last week believing that the black phone wouldn't be available before 4/30, the deadline for purchasing and activating a phone for the HTC ONE trade-in offer. I just read that the black phone is now available from Sprint. If the black phone becomes available at Best Buy before my 14 day exchange period expires but after the 4/30 deadline, does anybody know if I can exchange the phones and still receive the gift card or who I can call at HTC to find out?

I would not be too disappointed if this is not possible as I do like the silver too, but I would prefer the black.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I even entered my One's info I don't mind losing out on the 100 dollars. I really like the Silver though so i've got some thinking to do.
