After Lollipop my screen turns on at 100% charge

I updated my G3 to v5 20a and am loving it. The only negative is that on charging the display turns on when it reaches 100% and stays on, even though I have disabled this in developer options. I flashed with the genuine LG Lollipop ROM. It's a pain when it comes on during the night.

To get around it I installed an app called screen filter and I associated a Nova gesture to switch it on and off. It means I can make the screen very dim just by sweeping my finger up the screen.

Anybody know how I can disable the 'feature' ?

Well that's plum ridiculous. That's like filling the petrol tank and when it reaches a certain level, the car drives off by itself. What was the setting in Developer Options? I don't see anything like it in mine.

Have a look here on XDA. I used LG Flashtool and made sure I selected the CSE option to wipe my device before flashing it. Worked a treat.
