as the owner of Galaxy Note 2/3/4/5, I must say I'm really impressed with my new LG G4.

I current own four Galaxy Note phones. (2, 3, 4,5, all are still on my desk,
since I never sell my old phones)

I'll be honest. I didn't think much of the LG G4. I only bought it a few days
ago because it was better than free. $552, but with $600 off. ($100-off
discount code at time of purchase, $300 trade-in of a $0 smartphone,
$200 LG rebate Visa card)

After playing with the Lg G4 for the last few days, I must say I'm really
impressed with it. It feels very nice in my hand. The leather back and
the dark metallic trim make it look very premium. The knock-knock
feature is also nice.

Having used Samsung Note phones with AMOLED screen exclusively
for so long, I didn't think I would like the G4's LCD screen, but I actually
find it very easy on the eyes. Not too overblown with saturated colors
and the brightness is just about right. Text is also super clear.

I struggled a LOT before I bought my Note 5 last month because I could
not forgive Samsung for the lack of MicroSD card slot and removable
battery. (although I've learned to live with it) The LG G4 has both and
that's a real nice bonus.

The rear camera is just as good as the Note 5's camera. (in some ways,
it's better!) The front selfie camera's higher resolution makes me enjoy
taking selfies more than my Note 5. The ability to light up the screen in
white also makes low-light selfies look great!

The built-in speaker is also much louder than the one on my Note 5.

If I really have to nitpick about something, it's the curved screen. I still
don't see the point. The battery life is kind of iffy.

This is my very first LG phone;.... so I guess I should be more open-
minded when it comes to smartphones next time. :)

I have four phones made by LG and have great confidence in them as a manufacturer. :)

Glad you like it, most of us love this phone...you lost me at selfies however :))

Yes, my own preference would be not for a better, higher-res front-facing camera, but for one with the mercifully lowest possible resolution.

In that case, I like my Note 5 better than my G4. The Note 5's selfie camera has a beauty mode that allows me to make my eyes bigger and my face smaller...

This is not me... just some random picture from Google Search,
but is shows what the Samsung does

I said that was not me!!! :) My wife hates it when I spend money
for unnecessary stuff, so a $$$ sex change operation is out
of the question. (not that I want one to begin with)

married, yes. but can this bad cat still have fun? Yes, according to the wife. She and I have our list of 10 celebrities we are allowed to sleep with without repercussions. (inspired by "Friends") My list includes Nicole Kidman, Sophie Marceau, Anna Kendrick, Hitomi Kuroki, Amy Adams, Ellen and her wife in a threesome(yes, very long shot). Probably never happen in a million years, but it's good to know I have options. :D :D :D
