• SlimRom Build 4

• GAPPS for SlimRom 3.1 Version2.

Install:

• Requires a full wipe in the recovery
• Flash the rom zip
• Flash the slimRom Gapps
• Reboot.
• NOTE1: no sd-ext scripts included. Now included in build 3
• NOTE2: test kernel 23 included, but you can flash other CAI kernels
• NOTE3: Animations are turned off, so turn them on to 1x to see them and reboot.
• NOTE4: Virgin uses will just need keypad changes and build.prop changes: See attachment below. You can change the carrier label in settings
• NOTE5: If vibration isn't working, try CAI test kernels 21 or 38.

It's downgraded Jellybean, so similar to cm10 and more stuff should function. SlimRom is Jellybean 4.1.2 and JBC is 4.2.1

Updated the link:
GAPPS for SlimRom 3.1 Just the gapps package only. The other packages might be hdpi and arm7 only. Also grab the multi dpi Play store if you choose to change the dpi.

I haven't looked too much into what's removed. Mostly language support, ring tones, voice dialer,and tts.

Thanks. possible bug report I use adw ex launcher. Every time i reboot I tell it to use adw ex as default launcher but it asks every time regardless

I tried to use clockr and no settings would stick, (compared to the BobZhome CM10)

This rom is in VERY early stages so this is really just an observation



The rom is running great no fc or reboot issues so far and clock lag doesn't seem to be an issue either. Acording to this screen shot its even sleeping correctly however the battery life is not so great.

You can try these build prop tweaks from the CAI build.prop and the 99youtube fix from the init.d folder. And if you use bluetooth, idk if it works or not yet, but there's a bluesleep fix on permissions in the cai thread somewhere. And for the launcher issue, try to fix permissions in recovery, command line, or in Settings. Or move the launcher to internal memory or remove hololauncher completely
