New problem with microSD card

Last night I rebooted my phone before I went to bed and plugged the phone into the charger I guess before everything was finished booting. Now the phone is not reading the sd card and I keep getting messages saying there is a problem with the card. I pulled it and stuck it in a card reader and windows can see it perfectly fine. I've been playing with this for an hour and can't figure out how to get the card working again in the phone.

I guess if it comes down to it I'll copy everything to my PC and refotmat the card. If so should I do that in the phone or format it withint windows? And if so should I use fat, fat32, exfat, ?

If you can't get it to format via the phone, then just do it in Windows. If it still doesn't work, see if you can get another SD card to test it with (basically bug a coworker and see if they'll let you borrow one for three seconds). If that one fails, I'd say you have an issue with the phone itself.
