did anybody try this screen protector install method on the v20?

That's one way to install it. Usually, you don't have to use Scott tape since manufacture will provide you one.

But what I don't get in his video is he didn't wipe away the alcohol. Thanks for sharing, though.

There's a ton of videos out there to install.

Yes, I saw he left the damp alcohol on too..... Strange

Same theory as if you were putting on a wet application tpu type screen protector. The alcohol will eventually evaporate. Just dont smear in too much. This is exactly how I put on a glass screen protector on my note 4. So this method isn't new to me.
