How could google miss such a simple but essential thing...?

Why is there no default way to password protect buying an app? That is an unbelievable missing feature that should be built in and enable by default! Am I missing something?

You must sign in to your Google account to access the market. You have a password there

And there are plenty of free app lock programs in the market. Download one and set it to pw protect the market and any other apps you feel should be pw protected.
