Will Samsung EVER address the notification light issue?

Have you rooted? I did, and the notification light worked flawlessly on CM9. The only problem is that in the early builds, the notification light wouldn't allow the system to sleep, destroying battery life. Also, when I wasn't rooted, I used Missed Reminder (free in the Play Store). It worked...

    Controller help

For what it's worth, I bought the Gamestop Wireless Bluetooth Tablet controller a while back, and it works pretty well. I've used it with: Sega Emulator, Game Boy Color Emulator, N64 Emulator, GTA III, and Shadowgun. I recently got Dead Trigger and can't get the controller to work, and it also...

Tether my Prime to my Sprint Phone

I've got CM9 on my Epic 4G, also on Sprint, and I've used the wireless tether built into the ROM flawlessly with the Prime. Was able to video chat with someone on Skype on my Prime with no noticeable lag or drop in quality. I was somewhat concerned about doing it, since I've heard that, despite...

    Charger getting hot.

Seems to be perfectly normal, as mine does the same thing. Doesn't seem to get hot enough to cause any damage though, so I'm not too worried about it.

Best Office tool for editing MS docs on Transformer Prime

Try Kingsoft Office. It's free, and supports Word 2010 documents. I've used it, and it's great. (For what it's worth, the PC program is great too. A nice alternative to Word and OpenOffice.)

Best weather app for a tablet?

I've got Beautiful Widgets, and I think it looks great. They have tablet-specific widgets now, and there are dozens of skins you can download (for free) to really personalize it.

How to Root Transformer Prime on Windows, Mac, and Linux![ICS]

Re: How to Root Transformer Prime on Windows, Mac, and Linux![ICS From what I've read, you can't use any of the root methods if you're on 9.4.2.21. It appears that with this update, Asus closed the hole that was exploited before. I was thinking about rooting myself, as it's done wonders for...

    Firstrowsports and mlb

I've never had much luck watching MLB games from those sites. MLB is notorious for clamping down on them, even on YouTube highlights. I've watched NHL games on FirstRow on the Prime and was actually surprised at how well it worked. But I assume the torrent download is required to skirt MLB...

    New Prime owner

Kingsoft Office is great too. I've used it quite a bit, and, with the keyboard dock, it's not much different from using Microsoft Word on a laptop. Very useful app.

Taking screen shots on the Prime

I think Jerry already answered this, but for those who couldn't get to the link: just hold down the "Recent Apps" button. Very simple.

Dolphin Browser on Prime... Pleasantly Surprised

I started out with the stock browser. Meh. It was OK. Tried Dolphin because I use it on my Epic 4G, and liked it. Tried Chrome too, but I don't really like how Chrome loads mobile sites by default. I end up using Dolphin most of the time, because you can easily set it to Desktop mode and it'll...

    On Live controller

FWIW, I bought the Gamestop Bluetooth Tablet Controller a couple of months ago, mainly to play GTA III. For about a week, it wouldn't work. After the developers updated the game, it works flawlessly. I've used the Gamestop controller on: GTA III, ShadowGun, Gensoid, and GBCoid, and it's worked...

    GTA 3/Gamestop Controller?

Just to update/bump my own thread: The devs recently updated GTA, and the Gamestop Tablet Controller is now fully supported. It's like playing on a PS2 again. The only issue is that aiming is wonky/non-existent. I'm on a mission now where I have to assassinate a bunch of people with a sniper...
