I had my Droid X rooted and played around with some ROM's awhile back, but I have since forgotten how I went about the whole thing. My phone is currently updated with the latest Verizon OTA version:
System Version: 4.5.605.MB810.Verizon.en.US
Android Version: 2.3.3
I really want to try out the MIUI ROM but I am still foggy on the process of getting there. One of my problems is that I only have a Mac, but I don't remember needing a PC the last time I rooted and flashed my phone. I bought Droid X Recovery Bootstrap and ROM Manager from ClockworkMod, do I still need to use those programs? I'm being a supernoob about this.
Please feel free to bash the hell out of this thread if you think I am just being lazy and the answer is right in front of me.
kthnx.
