need help fixing x

First off let me say thanks to any and all who take time to post help on these forums. I have read and tried all kinds of suggestions.. and none have worked....I have a dx... rooted my phone with superoneclick... but did something to it. now every time i power on the phone, it goes to the nclockwork recovery screen. and i have to reboot again then it works fine. i tried to unroot, but says phone is not rooted...and i cant find the root.. superuser or the clockwork file.. and wont let me reroot phone.. what can i do now?

If you mean it goes to clockwork on power up, then get DroidX bootstrap from the market. Then tap the top button and it should reboot normal.

Uninstall the Recovery APK FIRST (bootstrap and/or rom manager)
You can also use Root Explorer
Delete the hijack file
Delete logwrapper file
Rename the logwrapper.bin to logwrapper
reboot
