Yes. There is an all in one utility that does everything for you though if you're uncomfortable withdrawing the root method

Care to share? I'm tech savy but not really wanting to root. I'm getting annoyed because Honeycomb has so many slow moments that I feel my touchscreen doesn't work properly. Mostly at the lock screen but rarely also happens on key presses.
