Testing speed.

Obviously, the Nexus line was designed to perform, with the lack of manufacturer or carrier bloatware. But I got curious over the last couple of days. I downloaded a speed test app. Results below. My question is what can I attribute this to? Is it Verizon? Is it that I am in Wichita, and there probably isn't a heavy drain on the network? Is it because it was 7 AM? Or it all the Nexus 6P just being an awesome device. It has to be a little from the Nexus. I don't think my Droid Turbo 2 ever performed this well. Being a truck driver, I can check out other cities and towns. It might get a little expensive to test each network though. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I would be interested in seeing how others perform.

Interesting. What app did you use for testing speed? For accuracy, install app call SpeedTest that uses the Ookla engine.

I've never seen anything close to that in my travels. I usually get speeds for 40-40mbps with Verizon.

Speed test from Toolbox is what I used. Just tested it again. Down some, but still good. Obviously, time of day is a factor.

That latter result seems more in line with reality.
