Which rom/kernel would you recommend to improve touch response?

I've got a Oneplus one a few days ago and touch response is not the best, with light touches not always being registered. I heard that the touch firmware differs from one kernel/rom to another. So I wanted to ask which one would you recommend for me to try? Currently im on stock Cyanogen OS 12.1-YOG4PAS3JL.

Thanks.

12.1.1. Yogdas2k1 or something close to that works fine for me... But I've never had a problem... I'm not joking but adding a good screen protector doors seem to have the added advantage of making the phone extremely responsive. Had the oneplus since its launch... Still love it, still problem free... Hope u have the same experience.

That's weird. I have the stock Cyanogenmod Rom (12.1.1-YOG7DAS2K1) and touch works perfectly fine. I even have a tempered glass protector on and have no issue.

Maybe your phone has hardware issue with the digitizer or lcd.

Have you tried resetting the phone to default to see if it fixes the issue ?

Cheers
