Why can't I delete items on the drop down notification panel?

cannot delete items on drop down notification panel

I just received a software upgrade on my Galaxy Note 10 2014. Now there is no place to delete items on my drop down notification panel. There used to be an X that I could click on and it would delete all notifications. That X is not there now and I do not know how to delete any items.

Welcome to Android Central.

Swipe each item to clear them from the notification window.

What is your current OS version because it is odd you don't have a "clear all" option anymore.

Bottom right, below actual notification panel should show the word "Clear" ...Tap it...

Are you on the new 5.1.1 Lollipop? There should be a "CLEAR" button located under all of your notifications. Do you not see that?
