The note 2 is lte capable. I actually made a post earlier about LTE going live in Philadelphia yesterday. But yeah.. It's capable.

look on the AT&T website, you probably just done have LTE coverage in your area yet, im still waiting on it in my area.

Yes it is. Where it's available. I live in an area that has lousy cell coverage. At home, I get 4g; four blocks away, this phone flies. Note: when I got it, it wasn't LTE capable out of the box. It took an OS update to access the LTE radio.
