Why does my Note 2 (N7100) keep turning off at night

My Note 2 has a habit of turning it self off at night. I go to bed with 80 - 90% battery life and when i wake up in the morning my phone is off, i then turn it on via the on/off button and the battery is around the 70% mark. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Just to clarify, you're saying that the phone is completely powering off overnight, correct? Are there any power-saver settings or apps turned on?

Hi B. Diddy Thanks for replying, not that i know of, i have flashed it three times since the problem started and still get the same outcome. I have changed the battery aswell. I have the basic apps on at the moment and cant see why they would turn it off.

I'd guess something is wrong with the motherboard, or some other hardware connection. You may have to contact Samsung.

Cheers bud ive sorted it. I am assuming it was the kernal because that was the only thing i changed when i re flashed it.
