Default music player

I thought there was a way to disable the stock Samsung music player from being the default when you plug in headphones or connect to Bluetooth, but can't remember how. I can't disable it in the app manager, and Google Music does not have an option to set as default. Any ideas?

It's the most annoying thing about the phone. I use Google Music and have it set to auto play on Bluetooth via Tasker but the default music player keeps butting in.
