This is my first android and I'm still trying to figure it all out. I just started loading music on to my phone and I'm running into some problems. Some of the albums that I load come out perfect, but others are not. For one, they are all out of order, the songs are listed alphabetically instead of their original number on the album. I checked the tags and they seem good so I'm not sure why it is doing that. The second problem is some album covers won't show up. How can I fix these problems?

If it's your Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga albums, then that's by design.... :p

This is what's a little annoying with the music industry and their DRM (Digital Rights Management) and how it applies to iTunes and other music services. What happens is a certain music studio will license the cover artwork for Apple based products, but other companies will not have the correct license and thus will not display correctly. Also, you have different file structures for different music players that will look for a specific folder to display album cover correctly (this also works for how the tracks are listed as some music applications will alphabetize and others will catalog via the track #).

There are a few Google Play apps that claim to work well with iTunes. Not sure if they work as seamless as they advertise, but might be worth a try. Check out the reviews and the ratings on each app that you're interested in. Here is one I found, while I'm not big on paying for an app that does something that I got for free previously, it may be something that's important to you, but do research before you buy. Youtube reviews are pretty good typically. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...et.synctuneswirelessfree&hl=en&token=TyERR83W

Here is another app for finding album cover art. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...m.ftpcafe.coverart.trial&hl=en&token=vJDwsESn

I haven't tried the stock Samsung music player, so I can't really help you. But I definitely recommend using Google Play Music https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...gle.android.apps.youtube.music&token=AmydbmUz

Actually I decided to use Google Play first, but Im having even major problems with them, that is why I decided to try out the stock music app. At first my albums were uploading fine, but then I started noticing there were missing songs. The uploader recognizes that all the songs were uploaded, but when I checked online via the web, the songs were missing, even in my phone they were missing. Like the last album I uploaded, it said 17 songs uploaded, but when I checked there were only 5 songs in there. Im not sure what the heck is going on, Im sure all the files are supported mp3, they were all labeled correctly, and even if they werent I couldnt find them anywhere in my library.
