after removing note 5 from wireless charging pad at Best Buy, stills shows as charging

my battery indicator still shows charging though phone is not connected to any charger. I tested whether it would wireless charge with S View cover on it on the pad at the Samsung area at Best Buy. Just put it on there long enough to see if icon would change to 'charging' which it did, but I left there an hour ago and it still shows charging.

I just plugged in USB charger and then unplugged and the indicator did go back to it's not charging state.

I am just curious if others have seen this happen
