Note 4 & marshmallow

If I revert from my Note 5 to my Note 4 am I going to be sabotaged by upgrading to Marshmallow?

I have a Note 5, my girlfriend has a Note 4 with MM on it. She has not had any issues with MM. If you do run into any issues right after the upgrade, doing a factory reset (leaves it as MM, but wipes everything else) makes it run good as new. Only downside is you have to make sure you back everything up before doing that.
