...how awesome it would be if the Note 8.0 had a 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 screen? I imagine such is coming next year but I really wish it were here now. I love the aesthetics, the details, that the high res screens can show.

No matter what it's coming. I don't mind these changes for tablets, I just think the resolution should have stopped at 720 for phones.

it's why i'm thinking of getting the note 10.1 even with a note 8.0 and a note 3 coming. still a great on the go device for me though.

I think as long as I still take my note 8.0 to work and about it's still worth getting the note 10.1..but saying that having the note 3 which is bigger than my S4 will I use that more in the office? tough one.

I still think the Note 3 is too big for a phone, but the new Note 10.1 looks really nice.

Battery is already terrible at this resolution, at 1920x1200 it will last only an hour

What are you doing within that hour? I would think the device would last longer than an hour...unless there is some kind of unusual usage or battery drain somewhere.
