Keyboard On Galaxy Tab 8 won't work if i have handheld bar scanning gun connected via Bluetooth

I have galaxy Tab 8 and need to scan bar codes in my warehouse. When i connect BCST-10 handheld gun to Tab 8 deviceand connects via keyboard and then gun works good and scans bar codes but when i need to type anything on tab 8 device i have to turn off the gun before using keyboard.

HOW DO I CONNECT HANDHELD GUN VIA BLUETOOTH SO THAT VIRTUAL KEYBOARD WILL WORK PARALLEL TO SCANNING BAR CODES WITH HANDHELD GUN

I'm not sure if you can at all. The barcode scanner is being recognized as a text input device, or a keyboard, and I'm not entirely sure you can have two active keyboards at the same time. You could try connecting one or the other through USB (OTG Cable) if your tablet supports it, but just like you can't have two active BT headphones blaring at the same time, it's the same with two keyboards. You can have a mouse and a keyboard at the same time, though.
