How did you guys unlocked your S4? Can you please share? Thanks.

I contacted att international care chat and they unlocked it for me. They always unlock my non IPhone devices without any issues.

Besides the t mobile features such as WiFi calling. What do you lose from actually using a T-Mobile s4 on T-Mobile over using an att s4 unlocked on T-Mobile?

I went over to T-Mobile last weekend because I wanted unlimited data badly! Sadly their network sucked in my area. I came back to AT&T.

Thanks for the clarification. I keep seeing 4G LTE on my ATT S4 with my Tmobile Sim but I was not sure if it was really LTE.

Why are there tutorials for "How to Enable T-Mobile HSPA+ AWS Bands on AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-i337/SGH-i337M!"

Does this mean that the 4G LTE bands work but 3G/4G HSPA+ bands do not work? I do see regular 4G on my phone sometimes which I assume was just HSPA+.

I am using a T Mobile SIM on my unlocked AT&T S4 and notice the following problem ..... when my S4 changes cell tower (eg. I leave home and go to office or somewhere else), my S4 will lose data connection although it still have 5 full bars coverage To get the data back, I just have to dial any number and I will see my data signal come back. Does anyone have this issue?

You need to do that for an area that dose not have "refrarmed" HSPA+ yet.....

I got my unlock code for my S4A from ATT customer service. I told them I was travailing to Europe and needed to use prepaid sims when on vacation. I am now Happily on T-Mobile in S. Florida. Great 4G LTE, 3G/4G & HSPA+ no modifications needed.

Yes, I have this same issue and apparently it has to do with the non-refarmed HSPA+ stuff....Although it cuts out completely for me on the regular and I have to dial a # and hang up. Then it seems to stay on if it's being used, and when I stop using it, it will disappear in a few minutes. I'm thinking about selling it on ebay and getting a T-Mobile or fully unlockable phone. Would it be fair to sell this as unlocked? I mean, it is unlocked but the data issue is still a pain in the **** for T-Mobile users.

Yes, I am having the same issue with my ATT GS4. Been searching all over the net for this fix but looks like nothing.:(

I bought an ATT S4 from a friend recently. I have T-Mobile and do not have an att account to call in and request the unlock code. Anyone know of an alternate method?
