why a Update app needs these is beyond me
now some how they have also removed the ability to disable the app its grayed out in the App manager
But panic Not
Now this also applies to all network branded junk that you want to disable
Here is the Good bit and its a Touchwiz good bit
so here is how
First open the App Draw
then press the Menu Button and pic Hide apps and pic the app so it hides the app
Then un hide the app
Yes i no that is strange but trust me
Now press menu again and select Uninstal/dissable select the app and click disable
BINGO
take that Networks oh and as this is touchwiz Networks can not do anything to it
and Samsung told me about this shame it does not un-install that app altogether
I'm sure Networks brake Androids terms and conditions some were

I'm on Verizon but will be watching for this.

I have run into a couple of things I wanted to turn off and were greyed out.

Nice find. Thanks...

I've found if you go to your apps menu press and hold on app, some apps give you a "disable app" option at top of screen. Doesn't work with all apps, but a lot of them is does.

That is true for all of the stuff you will find in the settings/......../applications manager/ALL

Press, hold down, release...... Uninstall/Disable is there.

Any ideas for the S6 Edge? I keep trying to remove this invasive app. Best I can do is uninstall the update to take it back to "factory" but everytime I go from wifi to 4g it reinstalls itself!!!

Package Disabler Pro has been recommended by many people to help with issues just like this. You can find it in the Playstore.
