In some situations. Holding the camera against something solid (a wall, a door frame, even a tree) makes more difference.

if you turn it ON, you must hold the phone rock solid, against a wall, on a rock, etc....

Image Stabilization requires a lot more time to analyze the pixels before it saves the snapshot.

For me, I am happier with Image Stabilization and HDR turned OFF.

what about video stabilization? should I leave it on or off?
