Homescreen Icons distorted

This has happened to me twice already with the first time it being worst.. My Instagram icon on my homescreen seems to have another picture or image on top of it.. Sort of replacing it... The first time this happened to me all my homescreen icons turned into the little android guy but I didn't get to screenshot this.. The only fix was restarting the phone.. Was wondering if anybody else ran into this or heard of it and if its a virus attack or something..

Do you have an SD card inserted, and were the apps that turned into Android guys all moved to SD? If so, the card might be glitching a bit--perhaps unmounting and mounting on its own. You could try a new card, but before swapping, you should move all apps back to the phone first. Once the new SD card is inserted, you can move them back.
