Why does my Galaxy S5 keep sounding notifications for 36 hours?

galaxy s5 keeps sounding notification for 36 hours

My phone keeps sounding notifications at 10 minutes intervals for 36 hours after each reboot. I tried several ways to stop this happening, to no avail. What can I do?

Presumably all your settings are okay in Sounds & Notification.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, which will cause no loss of personal data and may fix it.

If no good, try Safe Mode, which will test whether the problem is being caused by a third-party app.

If no good, register as a member and get back to us right here.

Settings> Accessibility> Vision> Notification Reminder. See if that works.

Before all else I must apologise for my typing mistake. My phone is a Galaxy S4 (...not 5). Wiping out the phone's cache did not solve the problem. But on switching off the Accessibility> Notification Reminder the problem was overcome. Many thanks for your attempt to help me out. Thanks also to Brian_Blaire as it was your suggestion that gave me the idea that has solved my problem
