Why do I get notifications even though I turn them off?

I get notifications even though I turn them of.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the S Planner-calendar. I am also syncing with my Google calendar. The thing is, I never need notifications for appointments, I look at the calendar from time to time anyway. So, I allways turn of the notifications but I still get them, the kind of turn themselves back on after a while and I get both notifications by push AND by email. Now this is pretty annoying so does anyone know why it does this?

Welcome to the forums. Are you trying to kill notifications from the Samsung Calendar?
