Why Outlook app is using 43% of my battery even after the up-date!

Downloaded the outlook app version 1.9 yesterday to my new S6 Edge and in the morning the battery was gone - from 100%! The log tells me outlook used a whopping 73% of it - what's going on? I can't disable any notifications anywhere so had to remove the app for now, but is there a solution?

It may have been a one-off. These things tend to happen from time to time. Try a reinstall and see how it goes, making sure that your sync settings are appropriate.

Where "appropriate" means don't check for email every minute - that'll eat your battery for lunch. Push (or off) is the easiest on the battery.

I use Outlook (and average 200+ emails/day) and love it and its sorting feature and it usually registers 1% use so I'd definitely uninstall, reboot and reinstall it.
