Why does my Samsung S6 freeze when I am using a messaging app?

my samsung s6 freezes when i am using messaging app

When I am texting using messaging it takes a Long time to load previous messages a long time to type or press the send button.it only freeze when I'm using messaging any other app is fine to use it have rebooted the phone turned it on and off and cleared cache anything else I can do before I send the phone back

Welcome to Android Central! Did you clear the system cache partition, or the Messaging app cache? If you only did one, then do the other as well.

Just try a different messaging app
