Galaxy S6 - Display "glitches" - coloured artifacts and lines

I've been having issues with my Galaxy S6. Every once in a while, the display gets coloured "glitches" on it. Sometimes, it affects the front facing camera too. I've especially noticed that emoji in Instagram are often affected (possibly due to their smaller size).

I've cleared the cache, which temporarily fixes the issue, but then it quickly comes back. Is there any way to tell what the heck is causing this? I don't want to have to uninstall and re-install all of my apps one at a time.

Some more info I forgot to mention: this issue only affects images - it's never just on plain text.

Bumping this since I received no response.

Lately I've been noticing the icons on the home screen being affected too. I've tried to clear out any non-essential apps but so far the issue persists.
