Edge feeds?

Hi there, can someone please explain to me how I get the edge feed display to come up when the screen's locked? It's all set up correctly and I've set it off by accident a couple of times but don't seem to be able to work out how or where exactly to 'rub!' Any help would be greatly appreciated x

Rub the edge of the phone up and down on the side you've opted to have the edge feed in settings. Right on the edge though or you may activate Saying Pay...

Just rub up and down the edge a couple of times.
