Is anyone using the Google Voice APP on the SG Tab 2 7 GT-P3113 as a phone?

Most posts in the forum about Google Voice seem to be from Tab 10.1 users and people using GrooveIP. Has anyone with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" (wifi only) successfully used a free Google Voice phone number and the Google Voice App on the tablet to make and receive phone calls, text, receive messages, and the like? If so, any advice about how to set it up?

I've used Google Voice to send text messages, but it doesn't directly handle phone calls. I have used GrooveIP to make and receive calls.
