Why does my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 screen automatically lock after 1 minute and shuts down?

i have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0,when its screen automatically locks after 1 minute,it shuts down.

I have to restart it all over again to use it which is very annoying. I think it might be related to microsd card, it shows "sd card inserted" every now and then, even when i haven't removed it for so long

I also have a Galaxy Tab 3 7" and have never had a problem like that, so I'm not sure what is going on. Have you tried using it without the SD card to see if that helps, or use a different SD?

this happens only when i have set the brightness to auto.. otherwise my tab responds normally.what is it with the auto brightness?

Might be a bad sd card? How old is the sd card? What brand?
