Looking up your question on Google seems to indicate that it is a rating indicator. 1 being soft and higher numbers indicate harder material.

Some apps will hide your downloads. For instance Barns&Noble hides my downloads in a secret folder somewhere. I could never find those downloads, but they play OK. What app are you referring to?

Maybe that is just a generic icon with 31. Open the calendar and see what date is highlighted.

OK then just don't use Chrome. Try another browser like Firefox and see if the problem occurs.

Just use a hand warmer. They last 18 hours or so and are pretty cheap to purchase. Get the large ones sometimes found at Walmart.

Like the posts above show, some like them, some do not. So it's probably a niche product where some can find a use for it and others not so much. I personally do not use one and do not see the need at this time to spend the money on a product that I would use for a day or two then put it in...

I know this is a old thread but I second the recommendation for the lg fiesta 2. I found it gives me the most bang for 100 bucks. Have used it for about one year now and still happy. Using it with Tracfone and pay about $8.00 a month for service. Hard to beat.

Not sure that most apps can be installed on a external SD card safely. You will have to download those apps again but don't put them on the external card. I use the external card for files, videos and photos that I create, no apps. There are similar answers to your problem here somewhere.

I sometimes have that problem here in Oregon. It seems to be caused by trees or HEAVY cloud cover. When the sky is clear the GPS works OK. But your problem may be caused by a defective CPS chip. Can you try it somewhere else? Preferably somewhere that has no obstructions to the Satellites.
