Am I completely bricked for good?

It's now for sale at a normal price. Thing is a great phone, but my employer has me on their plan now. No use for phone anymore (not on Sprint). See Marketplace for details.

Am I completely bricked for good?

Welp, got a ROM loaded on there. It was still USB bricked but I was able to get that resolved (thank god I put a rooted ROM on there). Once USB brick was fixed, it was still being a bit funky. But, I was able to get the 3.26 official RUU loaded. All is now well in the world, going to try...

Am I completely bricked for good?

So i renamed a better PC36IMG to update.zip and tried that method, but keep getting a (bad) on each image i try and load. Got excited when I tried the 3.26 RUU through Fastboot USB, it actually found the phone. But then it hung on "Waiting for bootloader..." and HBOOT was frozen. I may be in...

Am I completely bricked for good?

Now getting a (Bad) when trying to load the PC36IMG.zip I'm using in Clockword. HBOOT when it finds it says it's a bad image as well.... Used a stock 1.47 one I found. Guessing I may need to find the FroYo one? I was on that before.

Am I completely bricked for good?

So I have the PC36IMG.zip file on the SD card. Of course, my SD card is not mounting. I went into fastboot in ADB to re-enable it and am getting this error: David-MacBook-Pro:tools David$ ./fastboot-mac oem enablqexdm 0 ... FAILED (status malformed (1 bytes)) EDIT: I'm an idiot and spelled...

Am I completely bricked for good?

Yea, RUU doesn't work. That was my first thing I tried. Going to try the PC36IMG.zip. Picked up a micro SD reader at Best Buy, and kept my receipt ;-)

Am I completely bricked for good?

Phone boots just to HBOOT. Was messing with Clockwork Mod and now upon power, I just get the HBOOT screen (no HTC logo, Sprint logo...). I don't have a Nandroid back-up. I was one of the beta-testers whose phone got messed up from Unrevoked 3.2 testing. Any ideas? Or am I bricked beyond...

    Check your Phone!!

Dust under screen is always a weird issue to me... Never experienced it, and never understood how it ever gets there so far down someones screen.

    a couple of questions

You're probably using more battery going through the process of closing applications manually then just letting the phone manage the task processing. These are "smart" phones, they don't need manually managed for efficiency.

    Evo 4G vs. Palm Pre

As a former Pixi guy (and temporary Pre user)...you will be blown away by the Evo. Especially the higher volume of quality apps.

1800 mugen battery or the 3500 sedieo?

I've read throughout multiple forums the gains in the 1800's aren't that significant. If you're going to go extended battery, you might as well go all out and get the 3500.

EVO Restarting on its own - a LOT...

If a factory reset didn't fix it, something sounds funky. Are you running any custom kernels or ROMs? If not, you may want to consider taking it to Sprint and replicate the problem to them.

Phone updates ... PRL updates ... Sprint VoiceMail updates

Be careful when restoring data...You can sometimes run in to funky things. I only ever restored bookmarks on Titanium to avoid screw-ups.

One click root for 2.2 in beta

I was actually one of the two users who had issues when they pulled the build the other night. Great group of guys though. We worked on it for about 4 hours into the night. Determined my misc partition may have been corrupt before hand. One of their main guys wrote an App for my phone to fix...

    upgrade from bestbuy.com question

No. He will have to activate it to his account. This begs the question will he then port his number to this device? Then he'd have to swap it to your account while swapping back to his old device all while not losing phone numbers in the process. If it was easy, more people would do it. Not...
