since the S4 utilizes lock screen widgets, I suggest using the DashClock app, it displays lot's of notifications on the lock screen without removing the clock. check it out here...

It requires headphones because the headphones act as the radio antenna. Without them the phone cannot pick up the radio signal. Posted via Android Central App

Just downloaded, excellent app and so feature rich. A couple things: 1. Please make the icon follow the Android design guidelines with the slight top-down perspective. A flat square icon is not Holo, and this isn't that difficult, you could even run your current icon through this machine...
