I just received my Zagg InvisibleShield, and can confirm what others have been saying. The Zagg for the Pixel XL does not fully cover the usable portion of the screen. I submitted a case with Zagg and am hoping they will release an updated version of the product.

Another thread in the forums is stating that glass screen protectors are intentionally small due to the curved screen. Several versions out there are too large and leave a lip around the outside edge.

Re: Wifi Assistant Disabled by Verizon So it sounds as if your device is fine, but a Verizon purchased device won't use WiFi Assistant even if it is used on Project Fi. Glad I didn't buy mine from Verizon.

I ordered my Pixel XL (128 GB, Quite Black) on 10/4 at 2:00 PM EDT from Project Fi. It had been showing a 10/26-10/28 arrival date until today, when I received a tracking number. Should be here tomorrow!

I would disagree, I have had far more issues with signal on T-Mobile than Sprint in the Midwest. This is based on supporting a user base with BYOD devices that generate support calls when mobile apps don't work. I personally carried Sprint and T-Mobile devices during a couple year period...

I am more concerned about the direct from Google OS updates, but am hoping that they can get the other two things working. Hopefully Google will add some pressure for Verizon to support those features on the unlocked devices.

I went with 128 due to the lack of a SD card slot. Ordered my device from Project Fi and opted for their $5 a month damage coverage. It's not that much more than the Play Store damage coverage at the end of 2 years, and allows me to keep coverage if I decide to go into years 3 or 4.

I'm in the same boat, but I have the advantage of carrying a work Verizon line (I own the device and it is reimbursed) and a personal Project Fi device. I wasn't willing to risk it and went with Project Fi for the upgrade. My hope is that the Google Pixel devices bypass the carriers for update...
