why doesnt the nvidia shield come in 32GB without LTE

It is just the way Nvidia decided to design and market the 32 gb version. Many have purchased the 32 gb and never have activated the data (mobile connection).

If they had released a 32g wifi version for 350$, I would have bought one already.

Reason I don't want mobile is because I would never use it and WiFi only tablets are always better about updates and general development. Plus ya know, they may not have charged the full 100$ premium for the extra storage if mobile radios were not shoehorned in with the deal.

My whole beef with this tablet has been storage. Games(and everything else) are getting huge, and I do not have faith that developers will properly support SD expansion. Other than storage, this is more or less the perfect tablet. Great performance, build, and form factor. Shame Nvidia made this one huge misstep...
