Strange "S" symbol on notifications corner.

Hi,

My brother just got the S III and he keeps seeing an S symbol on the notification area.

Here is a screen shot:

And here is the logo by itself.

My girlfriend has the same phone, and we've never seen something like that.

I've done a lots of search on the image and I can't find what kind of notification is that.

Any ideas?

It's the Songza application. I have it on mine as well. He can slide the notification bar down and see it, tap the x. Or go into settings and force stop it. I just turned Songza on, and took a screen shot but it won't let me post it. But that's what it is.

He got that phone from his company (connected to AT&T) and may be the software was already installed on it.
I'll let him know.

It's possible that it was. I like it better than Pandora.

Now I started using it on my computer, I'm gonna see how is the music selection.
For my phone I have 'Tune In'.

(Oh, and about your signature... I have the Note 2 and I'm loving it!!)

I like it. It's not much different than Pandora, but the categories are better and the UI is awesome!
