So lately when I have been using my phone the music player (stock Music app that has always been great) has randomly stopped. After a quick force stop, clear cache and data, it seems to fix the problem. But now that doesn't work. The music player works perfect when plugged into my car sound system with the aux cord or headphones. But when it is not plugged in, it doesn't even make it through one full song before it stops playing. When I look back at my phone to turn the song back on, it still shows that it is playing, but when I click the pause button, it shuts down the app. I've never heard of something like this so I'm sure the easiest way to fix it is just use a 3rd party app, I just am too lazy to use another one and would like to see if this has ever happened to anyone else.

Welcome to Android Central1 Have you actually tried other music apps? It may be helpful to see if this happens on any music app, or just the stock one.
