No Reset after stock Gingerbread Update?

I updated to stock gingerbread today and when the update was done, my phone had gingerbread, but all my settings, apps, and accounts were still there. The initial setup, where you choose the time/calendar settings and add an e-mail account came up, though. Everything seems to be running okay, but I thought the phone was supposed to reset itself after the update was complete. So, I was wondering should I manually reset the phone myself?
